Calling all Royal Parks Half Marathon Fundraisers

Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon

On 7 October 2012, over 12,000 runners will take to the start line of the Royal Parks Half Marathon. If you’re taking part you could be in with a change to win £500 for your chosen charity.

Although the race is seven months away, our research has shown that the earlier you start to fundraise the more you’ll go on to raise. You could try to boost your fundraising by hosting a cake sale or start a blog to let your family and friends know how tough your training is. By keeping your supporters engaged with your journey to the start line they’ll be more likely to want to help you reach your target.

And to help meet your target one lucky runner will see their fundraising efforts boosted by £500.

To be in with a chance to win the £500 for your chosen charity all you have to do is set up your Royal Parks Half Marathon fundraising page on Virgin Money Giving and receive at least one donation before 30 April 2012.

If you’ve not created a page yet, it’s not too late. You can get started and create your page here.

Also, if you’d still like to take part, and missed out on the ballot the official charities have places available, you can find a list of the charities here.
