Earlier this week HRH The Duke of York strapped himself in and abseiled down The Shard in London.
Raising money for The Outward Bound Trust and The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund, The Duke of York descended from the 87th to 20th floor.
As Chairman of Trustees at The Outward Bound Trust, The Duke of York is heavily involved with the work the Trust undertakes to give young people challenges through adventure, while as part of the Royal Navy, The Royal Marines have a close connection with The Duke.
The Shard event has already raised over £1.5 million, with the fundraising page for the Duke of York raising an incredible £312,000 for the two charities. There is still plenty of time to donate to his page.
