Pride of Britain Awards Nominations

Who’s your unsung hero or heroine? Who do you think is so inspiring they deserve to be recognised with a Pride of Britain award?

The Pride of Britain 2010 awards take place this autumn and they’re looking for nominees. The award categories are:

  • Outstanding Bravery
  • Child or Teenager of Courage
  • Young Fundraiser of the Year
  • Neighbour of the Year
  • Emergency Services
  • Teacher of the Year
  • Fundraiser of the Year
  • Lifetime Achievement
  • Special Recognition

The deadline for nominations for this year’s awards is midnight on Friday 10 September. Last Year’s winners include Major Phil Packer, who completed this year’s Virgin London Marathon in 26 hours raising money for 26 different charities.

In particular they’re looking for more nominations in the new Young Fundraiser of the Year category.

We’ve already submitted some of our Virgin Money Giving fundraisers but if you know of someone who you think deserves an award, you can nominate them through the Pride of Britain awards website.
