Tri Together from Leonard Cheshire Disability

Tri Together - Swim Bike Run - 11 September 2011

Tired of the usual running events? Looking for a fresh approach to a fundraising challenge?

This year, Leonard Cheshire Disability have come up with an exciting new challenge that will change the way you see disability and sport. We’re proud to launch Tri Together, a triathlon uniquely designed for disabled and non-disabled people to swim, bike and run together.

We believe that everybody should be given the chance to take part in sports if they want to, whatever their abilities. That’s why we’re launching Tri Together, a triathlon uniquely designed for disabled and non-disabled people to swim, bike and run together. Triathlon is not only the fastest growing sport in the world but the perfect way for us to create a fully inclusive sports event that aims to bring together people from all walks of life and raise funds for Leonard Cheshire Disability.

New to triathlons? Swimming not your thing? Don’t worry!

Tri Together is the perfect triathlon for all abilities. With an accessible indoor 400m swim, a mostly flat 15km cycle through the leafy surrounds of Crystal Palace Park and a 5km run finishing in the iconic Jubilee Stadium, this three part challenge can be entered as an individual or shared in a team with friends or family, work colleagues or triathlon regulars.

C’mon challenge yourself or get a team together and help us make Tri Together a day to remember.

I agree, You should always challenge yourself. It’s always essential for a balanced life. It’s good to see that new challenges are still being made. Great post!
