New – Email tools and see who’s donated

Another request we’ve received from fundraisers is to be able to see details of who’s donated, and we’re really pleased to announce we’re adding a new feature to help you with this.

When you sign into your fundraising account we’re introducing a new option on the menu called ‘See my donors’. From here you’ll be able to view the details of who has donated to your fundraising page including their real name, donation amount, comment, and email address.

Email Address screen

If you send an email to your contacts through the Virgin Money Giving website you’ll see a list of everyone you’ve emailed along with who has and hasn’t donated yet. Within a couple of clicks you can send your own thank you message or a remind those who haven’t got round to donating yet.

We know some people will still want to be anonymous when they donate, so we’ll check that they’re happy for you to see their email address before they make the donation.

Email Permissions

Any fundraisers who’ve already donated to your page before we put in this new feature will still show as anonymous.

We’re also adding more new tools including Facebook Connect, Twitter, and PayPal.

Thank you for adding this, this was just what I wanted. It’s OK setting up a standard message to thank people as they donate but it’s even nicer to be able to send a targetted email as you go, with updates on training etc. and ultimatley how it all went on the day.

Brilliant. Thank you for adding such a vital feature. All fundraisers should pay as much attention to saying “thank you” as they do to saying “please”.

I DID IT!! Had an amazing day on Sunday and ran a respectable 4hrs 16mins in really hot coniditions. Ran the whole way only stopping to to hug my family at mile 25. Slowed considerably at the end due to the heat but had a brilliant time. Feeling sore today but still have a big smile on my face! Thanks for your sponsorship – it really meant alot to me and my charity. Bigs hugs to you all!
