We’ve got some exciting news…

Stickman with donationsThis week is a very exciting week for us here at Virgin Money Giving, and there’s good reason for our charities, fundraisers and donors to celebrate.

Last year on 14 October 2010, we celebrated our 1st birthday by announcing the fantastic total of £25 million had been raised through our not-for-profit fundraising website.

We’re thrilled to announce that in the first 5 months of this year we’ve already processed more in donations than we did for the whole of 2010!

At 21:25 on Wednesday night a donation of £455 made to Muscular Dystrophy Campaign pushed us over last years total.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who has fundraised or donated, and all the charities working with us so far.

We’re already looking forward to what the rest of 2011 will bring.

Earlier this year we put together a short video to be used at the Virgin London Marathon Expo showcasing some of the fundraisers and charities using Virgin Money Giving.

Looks like we’re going to have to update it already!
