Up for the UK Challenge

Virgin Money Giving spent the morning with its friends UK Challenge finding out about what the teams have in store for them this year.

Held at Wembley Stadium, team leaders from a host of teams including Sainsbury’s and adidas were given more details about the challenge. Alex and Emma from Virgin Money Giving were on hand to help answer any fundraising questions and to share tips on the best way to boost donations. You can find out more about boosting your own fundraising here.

This years official charity for the event, the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust also gave a talk on how the teams generous donations are able to make a real difference to young people.

Last year a team from virginmoneygiving.com took part in the event, and you can find out how they did here.

This years UK Challenge is held between 13-17 June in Stirling Scotland, where lots of teams from top companies will be pitted against each other in a series of mental, physical and strategic challenges.

While details of the exact event are closely guarded until the UK Challenge starts, the teams that take part can be expected to be involved in a host of team building exercises from hiking and mountain biking to mental puzzles, teasers and even giant board games.
