Win £500 for your charity in our Summer of Love

The Summer of Love

This summer we’re spreading the love by giving away £2,000 in donations to help you raise more for the charities close to your heart.

Whether you’re taking part in an organised event or your own personal challenge, you can enter the prize draw every month throughout the summer to win a £500 donation to your fundraising page.

For every donation you receive on your page in May, June, July & August you’ll automatically receive one entry into a prize draw for that month. There’s £500 up for grabs each month throughout the draw, and because every donation gets you one entry, the more donations you receive the more chance you’ll have of winning.

If you’re already got your fundraising page set up, you can still take part, every donation you receive during the competition period will still gain you an entry.

So get yourself in the mood for the Summer of Love and set up your fundraising page. Your charity could soon be £500 better off terms and conditions apply.

And don’y forget, your fundraising is in safe hands with us, Virgin Money Giving is 100% not-for-profit so whether you win a donation or not, more of the money you raise will go to charity. In fact since launch, £5 million more was raised, thanks to fundraisers choosing Virgin Money Giving over JustGiving.*

Good luck!

*Figures based on a comparison of the cost of service and transaction costs of Virgin Money Giving with JustGiving, based on Virgin Money Giving’s fundraising total since launch in October 2009 up to 31 December 2012.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust’s Events Team is challenging supporters to sign up for one of the huge range of exciting events taking place in 2013. From running to cycling, walking to skydiving, there is something to suit all ages, tastes and appetites for adventure.

What a good idea! We would love to win this to put towards our Sail Round the UK in aid of Sudep Action (formerly Epilepsy Bereaved) to help fund research into this disease that kills over 1000 young people in the UK each year. if you are by the sea this summer keep a look out for us on our boat “Sundart” and give us a wave!

This would be a fantastic boost to the ‘Beth’s Wish’ fundraising for a purpose built young adults room at the new build at St Michaels Hospice, Hereford. These young adults deserve a dedicated unit where they can receive professional care through end of life days….

I’m raising funds by doing the 5×50 daily challenge for 50 days for Practical Action who take 1 million people out of poverty each year – and all the hardships that entails. It would be brilliant to raise an £500 extra for them.

I would love this to help me out with my London to Paris cycle fund raising. I will be raising money for SPARKS children’s charity in August. I cant wait, I get to cycle through Paris, and at the same time raise money for a very worthy cause

My daughter and I are running 10kms on Sunday for Starfish Great Hearts a charity in South Africa. This money would make a fantastic difference to these children’s lives.

I am doing a skydive on sunday to raise funds for GBSS (group b strep support) charity. It is a charity close to my heart as my daughter had this when she was born, which sadly led to having meningitis at 12 days old, the outcome……Brooklyn 1 Meningitis 0!!!
This is my way of giving a little something back. So far I have raised £737.00 and a extra £500.00 would be wonderful xxx

I have had to postpone indefinitely completion of my 500km cycle ride along the River Marne in France. This is due to a heart condition requiring major surgery. I hope some friends & family will still sponsor me in support of my chosen charities…

Hi. Helen, Aggie and I (Pearson) will be walking 13 miles (about 21 km) in the North Pennines on 9 June, 2013, to raise money for the Ruth First Educational Trust (RFET) that supports students from Southern Africa to undertake a one year postgraduate degree at Durham University. Please sponsor us or read more about our cause at http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/THREE-HAPPY-WALKERS

We are asking friends & family to donate to Multiple Sclerosis Society instead of giving presents to my husband for his 80th birthday. An extra £500 would be fantastic!

We at Diss YFC are doing a triple challenge…Land, Sea and Air for The Norfolk Zipper Club. We have raised several thousand so far but a extra £500 would be a great donation towards a wonderful charity!
