Reading Half Marathon 2014

Happy Female KDA_7365

Christmas is coming and running a half marathon is probably the last thing on your mind right now but when the New Year hits wouldn’t it be great to have your goal already set?

The Mizuno Reading Half Marathon is a city centre race that starts and finishes in the magnificent John Madejski Stadium. The first ever race took place in 1983 and it’s still going strong today with the 2013 event over 13,000 people completed it. There’s a place for everyone from elite athletes to runners who would like a challenge of completing 13.1 miles for the first time. You can even take part as a team in the Corporate Relay Challenge.

Race day is 2 March 2014 and online entries are being snapped up quickly so make sure you get in early to secure your place. And if you’re running to raise money for a cause close to your heart you can make more of your fundraising by setting your fundraising page up now. As it’s that time of the year when people are feeling generous why not ask for a donation for Christmas instead of a present?

Hope you have a great Christmas training and a Happy New Year.
