#charitytuesday: Celebrating 10 years of SiMBA

Each #charitytuesday we bring you news of something that a charity is doing that’s just that little bit special.

On 24 October, the charity SiMBA (Simpson’s Memory Box Appeal) are celebrating their 10th birthday with a spectacular evening of entertainment, all the while raising money for the charity.

The charity SiMBA work to honour babies who have died, been stillborn or been miscarried. They help to gather timeless memories for the bereaved parents so that they can remember the child they have lost.

The 10th birthday event will feature a cocktail reception, a three course meal and a spectacular night of entertainment hosted by Grant Stott, featuring a raffle, Charity Auction and, of course, dancing.

Danielle from SiMBA told us “The reason we are holding the Ball is really to say thank you to everyone who has helped SiMBA over the last ten years, if it wasn’t for our fundraisers, donors and the team then SiMBA would not be where it is today – long may it continue!

You can secure your ticket for £70. The first 100 tickets sold will be entered into a special prize draw to win an overnight stay at The Sheraton Hotel.

If you can’t make the event, you can still support them by choosing to fundraise for SiMBA during your next fundraising challenge, or make a donation to the charity.
