Win a £500 boost for your London Marathon fundraising page

nspcc

You’ve got your Virgin Money London Marathon place. You’ve started your training and you’re not letting the weather put you off (much). You’ve chosen the charity you want to fundraise for. Well, now it’s time to kick start that fundraising.

The Virgin Money London Marathon is the biggest single day fundraising event in the world and the donations that you get on your page help make that happen. So share your page with friends and family and on Social Media, run a bake sale, tell your neighbours, your co-workers, the milkman that while they’re cosy in the evening watching telly, you’re out pounding the pavement and all for a great cause.

Because Virgin Money Giving is 100% not-for-profit, even more of your hard earned donations go to your chosen charity.

Plus, if you’ve raised £500 by the end of this year on your Virgin Money Giving page, you could win a £500 donation on us! Terms and conditions apply.

Set up your page today and get those donations rolling in.

I am running for asthma uk. I knew I wanted to run the vigin money London marathon, and knew to that I could give more than just blood, sweat and tears too. So I decided I would run for charity in may, regardless of the ballot place results. Since then I have already raised a great amount for Asthma, by running mainly ( completing the London 10k, the Great South Run and most recently my first half marathon. This has been a struggle! Despite being a chronic Asthma Sufferer, I was hugely overweight! In February 2015 I was diagnosed with diabetes, but running and seeing the support of my running being converted into £ for my charity has really helped. I am now 4.5 stone lighter, fitter and my condition more under control. Running has done this, vigin money’s London marathon has done this by setting a dream goal that I previously thought unobtainable. If you could help me get a little closer to my charity target I know that I can complete this goal.

It’s my first marathon and I’m nearly 49!

I am running the London Marathon 2016 for the Bobath Centre which is an organisation which helps children with Cerebral Palsy. My nephew suffers from this condition so I know just how much of a battle it can be for parents, family and individuals who battle against the problems that come with CP.

Please sponsor a £1 to get me to my pledged amount so I can run and try and make a difference for others.
